Ahhhh. So jealous of Sweden's bike infrastructure. You may be interested to know, however, that a a new bike-pedestrian bridge over I-80 is just about finished near the Gilman street interchange in Berkeley. Progress is slow but it is happening! I gave up my minivan three years ago, and relying on my bike as my main mode of transport has done wonders for my overall health. Keep biking!
